Royal Alexandra Hospital, Brighton

University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire

University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire

University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire is a large teaching hospital with a busy orthopaedic department of nearly 40 consultants.
There are 4 specialist paediatric orthopaedic surgeons, Stephen Cooke, Giles Pattison, Dan Westacott and Chris Hill. Between us we manage the breadth of paediatric orthopaedic conditions with the exception of spinal surgery and tumours. We have general and specialist clinics, a gait analysis laboratory and active research collaborations with Warwick and Coventry Universities.

In the past we have had fellows that have gone on to consultant posts in the UK and abroad along with fellows who required additional paediatric orthopaedic experience as part of their CESR applications. Fellows are super-numerary and as such can develop a timetable according to their preferences. There is no on-call commitment.

Fellowships are usually for a 6 month period but can be extended to 12 by prior arrangement. All applications are via the NHS Jobs website and we cannot accept applications made outside of this. We do not have capacity for unpaid observerships or shorter term fellowships.
